BOATING SKILLS AND ECOLOGY PROGRAMS teach water safety, boat handling, and the protection and conservation of water resources. Each participant experiences rowing and paddling, in addition to specific hands-on skills like knot tying, basic navigation, weather, safety, and marine ecology. This is a one week camp. Camp times are 10 AM to 3 PM Monday-Friday.

Student cost of this fun camp is $250. $50 due at registration, with the balance due on or before the first day of the program. Payments are accepted online via the link below, or by mailing a check to:
114 West 22nd Place, Chicago, IL 60608 (please include the participant’s name).

We do offer scholarships! Simply submit an essay written by the student to info@chicagomaritime.org stating why they wish to attend and acknowledging that the cost of the camp is a hardship. If you are able to pay any portion of the camp cost, it helps us help more kids.

A Participant Release and Indemnification Consent Form must be completed and signed prior to the beginning of camp. This form may be emailed to info@chicagomaritime.org.

Upon REGISTRATION, each participant will receive a welcome email stating what to bring and what is expected.
