CMAC 2022 Programming 

PROGRAM REGISTRATION DETAILS

Youth Program Registration Requirements:
 

  • $50/$100 registration fee, depending on class -- applied to the program cost* (*scholarships are available more below).

  • A completed Participant Release and Indemnification Consent, Medical Release, Liability, and Photo Release form prior to the start of the program,  CLICK HERE to download form.

 

Youth Program Costs:

Boat Building & Marine Ecology -- $500/per participant

Boating Skills & Marine Ecology -- $250/per participant

  - $50/$100 Due at registration, depending on class. Balance of payment due on (or before) the first day of program

  -  Payments accepted: Online via Paypal to support@ChicagoMaritime.org; Checks mailed to CMAC 1848 W. Waveland Avenue, Unit 3W, Chicago IL 60613

    The one-week program, with the support of Southern Shore Yacht Club, will work with teens ages 11-15 years-old and learn boating safety, rowing, kayaking, the importance of protecting our Chicago rivers and Lake Michigan, water testing, and row or sail on Lake Michigan (weather permitting).

Program Scholarships

 

CMAC wants to make these programs available to everyone.  After the $50 Registration Fee is paid participants may request a scholarship prior to the start of the program.

To request a partial, or full scholarship, each participant needs to submit a short essay explaining why they would like to take the program.  Include your level of financial need.  Essays can be sent to jay@ChicagoMaritime.org or mailed to the address above.  Please note the participant’s name, age, program dates, and location.
