Classes start August 16th - 28 - (Mon. - Fri.) for two weeks (Lunches provided). Participants learn to build small wooden boats (see photo) work together and grow from group leaning. On Sat. August 28th from 9:30-Noon Boat Launch Day for an on-the-water experience.

Program Schedule:
Aug 16th - 28th (2-weeks) from 10:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday -- (Lunch provided) at Chicago Corinthian Yacht Club
Plus - Boat Launch Day on Saturday, August 28 from 9:30am - Noon -- Family and friends are encouraged to join us to see the teens to show off their new skills.
Program Details:
The Chicago Maritime Arts Center will provide all the materials, tools, and instruction and lunches are included. Participants should wear comfortable clothing that can get dirty (as we will be working with permanent glues and paint) and sturdy shoes (no open toes). Chicago Maritime Arts Center (CMAC) - provides the tools, parts, materials and instruction for teens to construct Bevin’s Skiffs (11’ rowboats).
