With a little guidance the kids take a pile of lumber, screws, glue, and paint and turn it into a seaworthy rowboat. Participants learn safety, basic tool use, communication, and teamwork to build, launch, and row boats on the Chicago River. All equipment and material is provided. Participants should wear sturdy shoes (no open-toe shoes) comfortable clothes that are allowed to get dirty as we will be working with permanent paints and glues.
